Hey, I’m Jill.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor offering psychotherapy and executive coaching.
Maybe you're feeling lost, anxious, overwhelmed.
Maybe you've lost confidence in yourself, or you're dealing with an issue that seems bigger than you can handle alone.
At the end of the day, you want to build a life of peace and meaning and you need some help navigating the way. I've been there, and I'd love to help.
Services
Therapy
I believe you deserve to cultivate a life worth living.
My clinical approach is deeply rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I believe that everyone has the power to connect with themselves, change and grow.
My clients’ struggles are often related to depression, anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, substance use, career and life transitions.
Executive Coaching
Sharpen your professional edge.
Elevate your career by enhancing your emotional intelligence (EQ), the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
*Coaching is a non-clinical service. It does not replace therapy and does not focus on the diagnosis and treatment of mental health symptoms.
Specialties
I specialize in individuals seeking to build a better understanding of themselves and improve their lives. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals. In addition to being licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I hold advanced certifications in drug and alcohol counseling and healthcare quality. I am a certified ADHD clinical services provider. I also provide consultative services for behavioral health organizations nationwide.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I use evidence-based modalities uniquely tailored to the needs of the individual client.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Psychological problems can be driven by unhelpful ways of thinking and learned behavior patterns.
CBT treatment involves strategies to change unhelpful thinking patterns.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness grows your awareness of bodily sensations and teaches people to feel safe in their bodies while exploring thoughts and emotions.
Mindfulness is often paired with CBT or DBT and can include visualization, breathing exercises, and meditation.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
“Dialectical” means combining opposite ideas.
DBT is especially effective for people who find it difficult to regulate and manage their emotions.
DBT focuses on four core skills: mindfulness, acceptance, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation.
Behind the Name:
The Capitana Collective
I believe in self-determination and the power of the ripple effect.
You have the power to create a meaningful life.
When we positively influence someone, they may, in turn, influence others, creating a chain reaction of positive change.
So, let’s rise together.

Book your session
Book right on Headway—You’ll only be billed after your session.
I also accept debit, credit, HSA and FSA through Ivy Pay.
The service works simply:
You provide a phone number, which I enter into the provider’s Ivy Pay app along with a charge for the session fee.
Ivy Pay texts you a secure link leading to a page where you enter your credit card information and approve the first charge.
After future sessions, I use Ivy Pay to charge the stored card; the app sends you a text informing you that I’ve done so.

True privacy. By not involving insurance, you are free to choose what is most helpful for you and your concerns. There are no systems micro managing your care.
With very few exceptions regarding potential danger to self or others, your information will not be shared with anyone without written consent.
A formal diagnosis is not necessary. Of course, if you are seeking a diagnosis we may have a full and structured assessment to explore your history, symptoms, possible diagnoses, and treatment options.
Private pay can actually be cheaper in the long run for some people, especially those with high deductible health plans.

Hey! If you've made it this far on my page, you'd probably like to know more about me.
I'm a Philly native and have been in the behavioral health field for 16 years. My Bachelor of Arts degree focused on psychology and criminal justice and I hold a Master of Arts in Professional and Clinical Counseling from La Salle University. I've been licensed in the state of Pennsylvania since 2016.
I've worked in multiple settings over the years, including detox/rehab, youth residential facilities, intensive outpatient, and managed care. I'm on a mission to help people change their lives for the better and elevate the landscape of behavioral health services. To that end, I am a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
While the majority of my career has focused on teens and adults with substance use issues and severe mood impairment, I have a unique passion for helping LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent people.
I am a proud queer and neurodivergent therapist. I have lived the experience of feeling "other'd" in many ways and truly find joy in supporting people as they connect to, and learn to love, their true and authentic selves.
Aside from my career, I adore my wife, dog, and two cats. I am a retired amateur Muay Thai fighter, retired rugby player, and enthusiastically average Crossfitter. Mindfulness and Yin Yoga are integral to my own wellness.
You can typically find me hiking, gardening with my wife, playing guitar, listening to music, meditating, or tinkering with my 12-year old Jeep Wrangler.
So, do we vibe?
